The location in this historic house was fabulous. You are invited in by your hosts, invited to join them for tea, a lovely large room - so quirky! The breakfast was fabulous in the family kitchen with fresh eggs, home made marmalade, carefully sourced sausages and bacon etc. Also catered really well for the vegetarian in the party with smashed avocado and poached eggs. There was home made granola etc too. All in all a really lovely place

A wonderful place to stay, everything is top-notch quality. Charles & Charlotte are excellent hosts, friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated bedroom, super comfortable bed, fabulous breakfast made using home grown fruits and vegetables, lovely garden to sit out in on a balmy evening, safe off-road parking. Excellent pub across the road. Lots of lovely walking in the area.

Lovely hosts and a very sociable atmosphere created at this beautiful and grand house, Breakfast was delicious. The gardens made a great view from my bedroom window. Fresh milk for my cuppa was one of those little extras that make a difference.

Welcoming friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay memorable The beds were comfy, and our twin room was furnished in country house style. Breakfast was made with freshly laid eggs and good quality ingredients. Fresh fruit and homemade preserves were also available.

Breakfast was excellent cooked and served by the Host, nothing was too much trouble. The location was chosen due to its proximity to a family party being held in the vicinity, easy to find just off the A42 and close to some interesting places to visit i.e. Calke Abbey, Staunton Harold and Chatsworth further afield. Nice pub which served excellent food 5 minute walk down the drive but do book in advance.

Staying at Breedon Hall was like home from home and Charlotte was the perfect hostess. We were staying there because of a wedding in the area and Charlotte even offered to drive us there.. how very kind. Our little dog Jenson was also given special attention when he stayed with the family all day. He had a “woof’n “ great time!🐾

We liked the seclusion of the village. Nothing was too much trouble. Good selection of breakfast, which was served in the cosy, country kitchen. Luna, the owners dog, gave us a lovely welcome every time we arrived back at the property.

A bijou B&B in a Manor House. A good solid delicious English breakfast to start the day. Lovely spacious room & a very comfortable bed. Service with humour and a smile, perfect hosts.

Very personal breakfast in the family room.quality of the food very high.couldn’t ask for more.Old building and lots of atmosphere,Lovely garden to sit in if you have the time.Looking forward to another visit next year.
